Terms and Conditions Cancellation
Fees
A deposit of 50%
of total booking is to be paid immediately
by credit card to secure a booking.
Full payment is due one month prior to
arrival date.
Cancellations will attract a $200 cancellation fee.
Weddings, Parties, Events
Sea Eagle Retreat is to be used purely for holiday accommodation only. A charge of $2500 will be incurred should any type of function be held in the property without prior arrangement.
Security Bond
A security bond of $1000 is payable upon booking. Credit card details are held as the bond voucher for the property and only processed if necessary, subject to the tenanted property being left in a clean condition with no damage. No keys will be issued until such details have been taken or a cash security deposit has been paid.
Indemnity
1. The tenant indemnifies the landlord against any claim or demand resulting from any act or failure to act by the tenant or the tenant’s agents (which includes the tenant’s employees, contractors and invitees) whilst using the premises.
2. The tenant:
uses and occupies the premises at his/her own risk; and
releases the landlord from an indemnifies the landlord against all claims of any kind whatsoever resulting from accidents or events occurring on the premises except to the extent that the accident or event is caused by the landlord or a person for whom the landlord is responsible.
Cleaning
To avoid extra cleaning
charges, we ask that our property is to
be treated as your own and that you leave
the property as you found it upon your
arrival. This includes all dishes being
washed and dried or emptied from the dishwasher,
stove/griller cleaned (if dirtied) and
the BBQ cleaned (if used). There is news
paper in the pantry for this purpose.
All rubbish is to be disposed of in the
council bin provided. Furniture moved
is to be returned to its original position.
Candles are not to be taken into Sea Eagle Retreat
Candles are not to be used at Sea Eagle Retreat, damage has been done in the past to furniture and carpet, which has resulted in the replacement of the carpet. Birthday candles are an exception and to be used only in the kitchen and dining room.
In the event that any property is damaged
maliciously, or beyond normal wear and
tear, or in the event that property belonging
to Sea Eagle Retreat is lost or taken
during the course of the booking, we reserve
the right to charge the cost for repair
or replacement of that property to the
guest, and in that regard, the guest acknowledges
that the charge may be debited from their
nominated credit card.
We reserve the right to terminate your
stay with no refund if you are in breach
of our conditions.
We have these terms and conditions that
you have a great stay and that the next
guests have a great stay as well.
It is the guest’s responsibility
to read all terms and conditions of their
booking
