to the general public), where you can get up-close and personal
with such favourites as friendly koalas, kangaroos, wallabies,
wombats.
Enjoy meeting our 2 families of koalas (both northern & southern
species) where you can feed, touch, meet and be amazed at these
wonderful icons. Don't forget your camera!
Watch the place come alive at night as the nocturnal species
emerge. Grab your torch and animal feed and introduce yourself
to such endangered species as tiger quolls, bandicoots, gliders,
bettongs.... (no need for the kids to be bored in a hotel room!)
Our
facilities include.......
"WOMBAT COTTAGE" 1
bedroom cottage suits 1 couple, or family 2A & 2C. Queen sized
bed in bedroom, and king single & trundle in living area.
Our cottage has a private yard with wallabies hopping up to your
veranda, friendly wombats, one bedroom, bathroom with spa, washing
machine & drier, TV/DVD/VCR. Fully S/C kitchen. Inside wildlife
park grounds.
"KANGAROO UNIT" Sleeps up to 8 (10m
* 10m unit with separate bathroom) Suits couple, 2 couples, Large
family with up 6 C Large room with solid partitions forming 2
bedrooms, living area and separate modern bathroom (shower only).
Double bed, 2 singles, bunk and double futon sofabed. TV/ DVD,
S/C kitchen. Washing machine & drier. Inside wildlife park
grounds.
"KOALA SUITE" Sleeps
5. One bedroom unit with queen bed, and bunk & single in alcove
of living room. Self-contained kitchen. Disabled bathroom. TV/DVD.
"JOEY ROOM" Sleeps
3. Double bed and single, small kitchenette and ensuite. TV/DVD.
"WALLABY BUDGET VAN"
Sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids. Solid, fully lined annexe with double
bed, 2 arm chairs, dining table, TV/DVD. Caravan (17') with 2
singles, cooking facilities. Outside ensuite with covered walkway.

Your Hosts Kirsten, Dean and Jaryd call
Fauna Australia Wildlife Retreat home. Kirsten has a degree in
Eco-tourism and Dean is a qualified Zoologist.
Jaryd born 24th July 2003 is only young but he
was born on Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi Sue's 5th birthday. His
favourite animal is the fluffy koalas. Jaryd loves showing guests
his koalas.Sophie was born on the 13th Sept
2005 and like her brother, she thinks everyone has koalas in their
backyard.
